Who Is Green Lycan?

A Journey Into Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, and Learning by Doing

In a world where cybersecurity is becoming more important by the day, most people don’t know where to start.

That’s where I come in.

I’m Lycan, a content creator focused on breaking down cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and the tools behind it in a way that actually makes sense. No gatekeeping. No unnecessary complexity. Just real learning, step by step.

Why I Started?

Cybersecurity can feel overwhelming when you're new.

You’ll hear terms like pentesting testing, network enumeration, privilege escalation… and it can feel like you’ve opened a book halfway through the story and immediately got lost, I know, I was there once too.

So I was a game review channel, I realised other people might also feel like I did, so I changed my channel and made Green Lycan a cybersecurity channel to fix that.

Not by dumbing things down, but by explaining things properly and clearly from the ground up so that you can understand why you’re doing something, not just what command to run.

Because running tools without understanding them isn’t hacking, it’s guessing.

What I Do?

Through my content, I focus on three core areas:

1. Beginner-Friendly Cybersecurity Education

I create guides that walk you through the fundamentals of cybersecurity in a way that builds real understanding.

Whether it’s explaining how networks work, what ethical hacking actually is, or how platforms like Hack The Box function, everything is designed to give you clarity, not confusion.

2. Hands-On Hacking Practice

Cybersecurity isn’t something you learn by reading alone.

That’s why I create walkthrough-style content based on real platforms, where you can practice legally in controlled environments.

You’ll see how things work in real scenarios but without spoilers, shortcuts, or skipping the important parts.

3. Tools, Systems, and Setups

From virtual machines to operating systems like Parrot OS, I explore the tools that make up a real hacking environment.

Not just what they are, but how and why you should use them.

Because your setup is your workspace… and your workspace shapes how you learn.

My Approach

I believe learning cybersecurity should feel like building something, not just memorising commands.

Every video, guide, and piece of content I create is built around:

  • Understanding before execution
  • Real-world application
  • Clear, structured progression
  • No unnecessary fluff

If you’re here, you’re not just watching content , you’re building a skillset.

Who This Is For?

This isn’t just a content channel, it’s a growing ecosystem.

From structured learning paths and walkthrough series, to deeper dives into tools and real-world scenarios, the goal is simple:

To help you go from zero… to confident.

Not overnight, not magically, But properly.

Final Word

Cybersecurity isn’t about being the smartest person in the room, it's not about typing fast.

It’s about being the one who understands what’s actually happening, and that’s what we build here.

If you’re ready to start learning the right way…You’re in the right place.
